MISCELLANEOUS
The Only and The First Foreign Stamp was used in Japan between Tokyo and Yokohama [1870]. This stamp was issued by a private foreign company in Yokohama called Sutherland & Co. This company played like as a courier/postal services on that time. There were two kind of nominal - a quarter Boo (Japanese currency on that time) and one Boo. Now the market price is 3,5 million yen a piece. This stamp is also shown on the exhibition.
